How it works

The right thing, at the right time.

Most founders don’t have a strategy problem. They have a sequence problem. They’re doing ten good things in the wrong order, with nothing solid underneath them. Here’s what it looks like when that changes, from the first five minutes to the Monday morning you finally get to lead.

The path

Six steps. One at a time.

Let me walk you through it the way it actually happens, because I think you’ll recognize yourself in it.

01

Five minutes · The audit

It starts with you, on a busy afternoon.

You’re somewhere between jobs, or between calls, and you’ve got five minutes. You’ve been meaning to “do something about Ai” for months. Maybe a friend sent you this site, or maybe you found it because you asked ChatGPT a question about your own industry and didn’t love who it recommended. Either way, you click the button and take the Ai-readiness audit.

It’s twelve honest questions about the four parts of your business: Product, Marketing, Sales, and the Command Center you lead from. Nothing tricky. Do you know exactly who your best customer is, in their words? When someone asks Ai who to call, do you come up? When a lead comes in on a Saturday night, does anyone answer it? Do you see the numbers that matter every week without asking for them?

When you hit the last question, you get four scores right away. And here’s what almost everyone tells us: the lowest one isn’t a surprise. You already knew. You just never had it put in front of you that plainly, with a number on it, and with three things you could go do about it that same day. Before anybody sells you anything, you should get real about where you are.

02

Thirty minutes · The strategy call

Then we sit down together.

If the audit shows a real gap, and you want help with it, we get on a strategy call. Dating, not marriage. Nobody’s asking you to sign anything.

The lowest score tells us where to look, but it doesn’t always tell us why. Sometimes the marketing score is low because the website is old. Sometimes it’s low because nobody is clear on who the website is supposed to be talking to, and that’s actually a product problem wearing a marketing costume. Sometimes leads land in five different places and nobody owns them.

“What’s the one thing we could do right now, such that everything else gets easier or unnecessary?”

There’s almost always an answer, and it’s almost never the thing the last vendor tried to sell you. You leave that call with a bird’s-eye view of what to do next, in order. If we’re the right people to help, we’ll tell you how and what it costs, plainly. If we’re not, we’ll tell you that too.

03

The foundation · Before we build anything

We dig.

Before we touch your website, your ads or your content, we sit down with you and pull everything out of your head. Who you serve and why they buy. What they’re afraid of. The exact words your best customers use when they describe you to a friend. Your offers, and how a stranger becomes a customer and then a raving fan. The frameworks and models you’ve built over years without ever writing them down.

That’s where the name XTRACT comes from. We extract your genius so you can bring it to the world. All of it goes into a foundation your team can use and your Ai can work from. This is the house on the rock. Skip this step and everything that comes after it is built on sand. I know, because I built on sand for years.

04

The build · In the right order

We become your growth team.

If the constraint was the foundation, we finish it first. If it was the website, we rebuild it, usually in days instead of months, wired so every lead lands in one place and gets answered. If it was visibility, we get you showing up on Google and in the Ai answers your buyers are asking for. If it was sales, we build the pipeline and the follow-up. If it was you being the bottleneck, we build your Command Center.

We build the systems, run the marketing and drive the Ai, so it actually gets done. You’ve had plenty of plans. What you haven’t had is someone who finishes them.

This is what it looked like for a manufacturer we work with. Leads were coming in and nobody was seeing them. Their Google profiles weren’t claimed. The last post was 33 weeks old. And one of the owners said what I hear from almost every founder: “And then we all get busy. And then nobody really does it.”

~10%more organic traffic the first week
428keywords improved
~80%of the time, ChatGPT named them

And what that owner said after is the whole point: “I’m just so glad you did this while we were busy.”

05

Your team · XTRACT Ai Labs

We hand your people the keys.

We don’t want you dependent on us forever. That’s not a growth partner, that’s a crutch. So while we’re building, your team is learning to drive the same systems inside XTRACT Ai Labs.

Ai is the car. Everything is going from skills to words, and the people who already know your business best are already on your payroll. When they learn to tell Ai exactly what they want, they become more valuable, not replaced. Ai shouldn’t be the reason you let your people go. It should be the reason they become more than they were.

06

A few months in · Monday morning

And then you get to lead.

You open your Command Center. Your numbers are there. This quarter’s priorities are there, and you can see which ones got knocked down. You didn’t have to chase anyone for any of it. A lead came in on Saturday night, and it got answered. Somebody asked Ai who to call, and your name came up. You want to change a headline on your website, so you ask, and it’s done in about ten minutes.

One monthly check-in with us that actually matters, instead of a calendar full of meetings that don’t. And the rest of your week goes to what humans actually get to do: leading your people, building relationships, serving your customers, and being home for dinner. That’s what all of this is for.

What we won’t do

No hype. No hammer.

Every result on this site came from a real client, and you’re welcome to ask about any of them.

  • We won’t promise rankings by Friday. Nobody honest can.
  • We won’t sell you a course and leave you alone with it. I’ve been on the wrong end of that more times than I can count.
  • We won’t sell you the thing we make just because we make it. When you’re a hammer, everything’s a nail.
  • We won’t make up numbers. Ever.

Your next step

Let's get real about where you are.

Thirty minutes with Josh. We find the one thing that would make everything else easier or unnecessary, and you leave with a plan whether you work with us or not.
